Episode 5: Yuni Wa

"Hot Takes" episode five features legendary future funk and lo-fi hip-hop producer Yuni Wa! Our good friend is one of the most prolific and seasoned acts in the game and has mixed and performed at countless IRL shows across the US, including headlining at Vaporspace in St Louis, Missouri. Despite some technical difficulties, episode 5 featured a lot of memorable moments that you'll just have to press the play button to experience. Geeking out about 80's R&B and quiet storm music may or may not have happened. Some insightful words about how to best uplift and celebrate the voices of people of color within the scene definitely needed to be heard.
